ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Alexa, a young photographer based out of Northern New Jersey. I started my business when I was just 15 after receiving my first camera for Christmas. Although it started as just a fun way to capture memories of my friends and family, I have been able to expand my business and become an accomplished and reputable photographer. I pride myself on being self-taught and as my business continues to grow, my education does as well. Along with being a photographer, I am an elementary school special education teacher. When not working I like to spend my time attending the theatre, cooking/baking, crafting, and spending time with family.

Photography has served as an outlet for me to release my creativity, but also an outlet to escape the world around me. I love being able to zone in on one moment in time, forgetting the rest of the world. In the summer of 2021, I fell ill with a rare neuromuscular syndrome that resulted in all of my nerves dying and me losing sensation as well as use of most of my body. One of the hardest moments was realizing I'd possibly never pick up a camera again. It's taken hard work, time, and perseverance, but I'm learning to work around these obstacles and get back to what I love. As I continue to suffer from this horrible disease, I enjoy every minute with my camera I can before I possibly lose all use of my hands.
In 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to serve as a photographer for the Walt Disney Company at the enchanting EPCOT in Orlando. Immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of one of the world's most beloved destinations, I captured moments of joy, wonder, and pure magic. From capturing the excitement of families exploring the wonders of Future World to preserving the enchanting memories made in the World Showcase, each photograph tells a unique story. I had the honor of capturing 1000 of magical moments for families from all over the world and it has opened my eyes to so many beautiful lessons. Some of my work from the Walt Disney Company is pictured below in a post featured on their social media.
